Day 68 without playing golf
Do you have any New Year’s resolutions? Do any involve golf?
It seems like resolutions are made to be broken. They’re easy to make but hard to fulfill.
Nonetheless, I'll make a few modest golf resolutions for 2006.
1. Play more golf.
Considering I only played twice this year -- once in May and once in October -- this one should be easy. But they don’t call me The Armchair Golfer for nothing. I don’t get out on the golf course much.
2. Update this golf blog nearly every day.
This is my outlet for golf. This is where I hang out with you golf enthusiasts, our 19th hole. Whether you’re a regular reader or new to this blog, I want to give you a reason to come back. So in 2006 I’ll be providing fresh golf stuff on a daily (or nearly daily) basis. Keep stopping by.
3. Attend the Masters.
OK, this one isn’t going to happen unless I win the practice round lottery. It’s more a wish than a resolution. But I’m ready. Now that I live on the East Coast, I can get to Augusta National by car in about five hours. I’ll be watching my mail box.
